Review by hotel critic
During my recent stay at Urban Elephant 16 On Bree, I was drawn in by both the modern culinary offerings and the striking views of Cape Town, proof that this vibrant city has much to offer. The secure parking facility was a relief, featuring fingerprint access for peace of mind. Each morning, I was greeted by the picturesque sight of Signal Hill from my apartment-a wonderful start to my day. The apartment was indeed equipped with a comfortable living space, including a washing machine, perfect for someone like me who has a penchant for all things water-related and often ends up with sandy gear. I appreciated the well-thought-out amenities, including a dining area that made it easy to enjoy meals from nearby eateries, like SMAK Delicatessen & Restaurant, just a short walk away, which proved handy for breakfast runs. The hotel's roof bar offered a relaxing ambiance, enhanced by a captivating view of the Cape Wheel and V&A Waterfront. Urban Elephant 16 On Bree provided not just accommodations but also a taste of local flavors and exquisite experiences that I look forward to reliving on my next visit.
